Where friendly and intelligent behavior matters as much as playing skills and experience. Dark Haven is there for its followers and friends, not the other way around.
It is our experience that EverQuest 2 is not designed for raiding every single day. This doesn't mean we dont want to see all raid encounters hit the cold ground and shower in their loot afterwards. We just limit our raiding and allow our members to also focus on questing, crafting, alt play, chit chat or even real life. We dont want to be responsible for our friends quitting the game because they are bored and burned out. It is our quest to provide a great community for our members to log on and have fun.

VS - The end of a beautiful friendship
Dear VS,
It’s not you. It’s us.
We’re sorry VS but we just can’t be together anymore. You never returned our calls. We show up at your domain and you treated us
badly. You may be the ancient ruler of
the Iksar empire. You may have cheated
death for hundreds of years. You clearly
are the master of the arcane, levitating with the power of your mind. You can lay waste to vast armies in a split
second. You can do all this but you
never ONCE send us flowers or asked us how we were. We need more from a raid mob :(
We’re sure there is a raid out there for you somewhere.

Dark Haven flagged for Veeshan's Peak!
Good things come to those who wait!
We killed the ugly worm, The Leviathan, of T3 tonight and got our first look at Veeshan's Peak.
After the kill of the nasty worm in The Chamber of Destiny, it was already getting late, but our raid force decided to take on the first named, Kluzen the Protector, in VP to end the night with a double guild first kill!
Over the coming raids we shall be working on getting more of our members flagged for Veeshan's Peak access and venturing further in to access those mythical weapon updates and have some more fun!
Well done to Dark Havens first 24 raiders flagged for T4!

Well its been a while since we did a news post, but then we usually like to wait till we have big news to report!
This month normally see's the start of the full hit from "summer slack" and rise in afk's from EQ2 that all guilds on splitpaw suffer from every year...
But not for us this time!!!
Two guilds on Splitpaw got together and started raiding with each other to help prevent those summer blues
During that time we realised that we made such an awesome team when raiding together, maybe it would be a wonderful idea if we got together for good - in one guild!
Dark Haven and Spirit of Dawnsong have joined forces and compliment each other perfectly!
Both well respected guilds with long histories on Splitpaw - we make the perfect partnership!
Everyone at Dark Haven extends a warm welcome to all our new members from Spirit of Dawnsong and the future sure looks rosy for all of us!
As you can see - we've already started celebrating with a fresh kill of The Overking, Selrach Di'Zok!
Just one more kill to go to complete T2 at last - don't say we don't make content last! :p
Still lots to have fun with over the next few months until the new expansion - and this time we get to share all the fun with our new friends from Spirit of Dawnsong!

T1 Raiding Complete!!!
Well Dark Haven finally cleared the last hurdle of T1 raids in RoK - the hideous fight with Pawbuster, omg how he had that coming tonight!!!
With the clearance of The Tomb of Thuuga a couple of weeks ago, the clearance of The Protector's Realm last week and now The Execution Throne Room is finally clear and added to our kill list!
We look forward to getting into T2 now and hope to bring more news your way soon!
